WHAT IS ANTI WRINKLE?

Toxin is a purified form of protein. It is a non-surgical treatment that can temporarily reduce facials lines and wrinkles. During the treatment, very low doses are administered via a series of tiny injections directly into the muscles.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Lines and wrinkles are caused by repeated muscle activity in certain areas. By injecting directly into the muscles the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles are blocked. This reduces the activity of the muscle and so reduces the lines formed.

WILL THE TREATMENT HURT?

No. the needle used is exceptionally fine and coupled with a gentle technique, discomfort should be minimal.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

We will need to ask you a series of questions regarding medical history and discuss which areas you wish to be treated. Following the consultation and discussion of options, a consent form will be signed. The area is then cleansed and the procedure is carried out. The treatment should take between 20-30 minutes.

HOW OFTEN WILL I REQUIRE TREATMENT?

results from the treatment can last up to 4 months. We recommend that you visit us 3 times per year to ensure we reach your desired results.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Side effects are very uncommon. In 10 years we have never had any serous side effects.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I STOP GETTING THE TREATMENT?

If you do not continue the treatments on a regular basis, lines and wrinkles will return as before.

HOW DO I KNOW THE PROCEDURE IS SAFE?
